On June 13, aux nuages will host a wine tasting focused on the wines of Galicia in northwest Spain. This rainy region faces the Atlantic ocean and has a very different climate to the Mediterranean parts of Spain.
Galicia has long been known for some of Spain's best white wines based on grapes native to the region. This tasting will feature several Galician whites, including some small production special cuvees of very high quality. However Galicia's red wines made from indigenous grapes are also worth exploring. Please have a look at the following review of Antonio Cajide's Sameiras Tinto from well respected wine journalist Jamie Goode. This wine will be featured at the tasting.
We will put out 10-11 wines in total, and for those who are Tempranillo devotees, we will include some Ribera del Duero selections to help you get your fix!
We look forward to seeing you there.
