Our Port winemaker Oscar Quevedo is making a brief stop in Tokyo and we are teaming up with the ultra-cool Parabola wine bar to host him on Friday November 17.
Quevedo Port Wines is a family run winery based in the heart of the Cima Corgo region of the Douro river valley. One of the new generation of independent Port producers, Quevedo has achieved broad critical acclaim and a growing international reputation.
The Douro river valley is a stunningly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site. It houses one of the world's oldest demarcated wine regions, dating from the 1750s, 100 years older than the Bordeaux 1855 classification.
We have arranged a lineup of Portuguese still wines and Ports that we will taste together with Oscar Quevedo. A rare opportunity to taste them with the winemaker and learn about this magical region. Price is ¥6,000 for a full tasting flight and light dinner - including a generous supply of Stilton cheese!
Details are available both at our web site, and at Parabola's Facebook page. Feel free to sign up through either location. Please join us!
