Our next wine tasting focuses principally on Champagne from the house of Comte Audoin de Dampierre.
Comtes de Dampierre is a small traditional Champagne house that produces top quality Champagne using only Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Dampierre wines are typically Grand Cru and Premier Cru quality, and originate from the finest Champagne villages. A true connoisseur’s Champagne, it is poured in over 40 French embassies worldwide.
We will offer a suite of these Champagnes, including bottles tied with old-style ficelage - the traditional method of tying the cork by hand from the 18th and 19th century. Reserved by Dampierre for their top cuvees. We also offer a flight of organic still wines that complement the Champagne offering.
This is a great opportunity to taste many styles of high quality Champagne and learn more about these legendary wines. Ideal for the upcoming holiday season.
