After a long and hot summer, fall season is finally approaching. We have decided to mark it - on a Monday public holiday - with a tasting focused on wines from Spain.
We start with a series of white wines from the rainy Galicia region on the Atlantic coast, Spain's great white wine region.
We then try a few lighter Galician reds, after which we move on to fuller reds from Spain's famed Ribera del Duero region, home to some of Spain's most powerful and expensive red wines. A few organic wines from southern France will be added along the way to break things up.
As usual, emphasis will be placed on small quality producers with wines in a hand made style. The extreme version of this being Ribera del Duero's Alto Sotillo, a tiny artisanal husband and wife team who even built their own winery by hand!
The tasting will include a broad selection of high quality items, about 15 in total. The wines offered will include both organic and conventional labels in a variety of price ranges. Subject to availability, the wines will be available for purchase on the spot, or can be shipped anywhere in Japan.

今年は記録的な猛暑が続きましたが、やっと秋らしさが増してきました。秋深まる10月8日月曜日に、スペイン産のワインをメインとした試飲会を開催します。
スペインの素晴らしい白ワイン地域である大西洋沿岸、雨の多いガリシア地方の高品質の白ワインを取り揃えてスタート。続いて、ガリシアの赤を軽く試飲していただきます。そして、スペインの最も有力で高価な赤いワインであるリベラ・デル・デゥエロ地域の豊かな赤を試飲していただきます。フランス南部の有機ワインも、ちょっと休憩をかねて試飲していただきます。
手作りワインの小規模な生産者に重点をいてご紹介します。リベラ・デル・デゥエロのアルト・ソチローは手作りのワイナリーを営む夫婦だけのな職人です

試飲には、合計で約15の高品質な品目の幅広い品揃えを予定しいます。提供されるワインには、様々な価格帯のオーガニックラベルと従来のラベルが含まれます。在庫状況によっては、その場で購入することも、日本国内のどこにでも出荷することもできます。
